Communications Advisor

20 hours per week | Fixed term to 30 June 2027

Based in Mangawhai or Dargaville, with work from home options

We're looking for a Communications Advisor to join our team in a part‑time, fixed‑term role through to 30 June 2027. You'll help deliver clear, confident communications that support council initiatives and keep communities informed.

This is a dynamic role where you'll partner across the organisation to shape messaging, provide trusted advice and deliver communications that land.

What you will be doing

• Prepare media releases and support media responses
• Develop and deliver impactful communication plans, content and campaigns
• Create content for digital channels including website and social media
• Monitor media and identify issues that may impact the organisation
