Community Care Assistant

Overview

To provide high-quality, compassionate, and person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, in line with their personalised care plans, the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Fundamental Standards.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care & Support:

• Assist Service Users with all physical, personal and social needs including washing, dressing/undressing, shaving, oral care, hair care and toileting needs in a dignified and respectful manner
• Support with mobility, including the safe use of equipment and aids
• Support and assist with nutritional needs, drinking, and meal preparation according to dietary needs

Medication Support:

• Prompt, assist, or administer prescribed medication/treatment in accordance with company policy, training, and the client’s care plan
