Community Development Officer

The Community Development Officer (CDO) will be responsible in providing technical support in building  strategic partnership among seaweed growers, women's groups and farming communities.

SCOPE OF DUTIES

The CDO will directly report to the Project Head and shall perform the following specific roles to ensure  that the project objectives are efficiently achieved:

1. Community Assessment. Identify resources, needs, issues, and relevant plans and activities of target community groups through consultations and other applicable methods.

2. Stakeholder Engagement. Collaborate with community leaders, local government units (LGUs),  NGOs, and other community groups that are significant in the project implementation. Establish relationships with representatives of key sectors such as academe, business, civil  society and others.
