Description

The community health nurse works together with Sturgeon Lake First Nation to deliver a professional, ethical, culturally sensitive, and responsible care throughout the life span. The community health nurse uses the Holistic Wellness Model of care as the basis for all practice and will work under the supervision of the Senior Health Nurse.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Nursing
• Eligible for registration in Saskatchewan
• Strong facilitation skills
• Minimum 3-5 years related nursing experience required
• Ability to work effectively within a holistic team approach
• Willingness to attend community health training programs as required
• A current satisfactory Criminal Record (CPIC)
