The Caithness Integrated Midwifery Team are looking for a midwife keen to experience remote and rural midwifery practice as part of our small, friendly CMU. The post offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced midwife, keen to practice midwife-led care and to develop skills as an autonomous practitioner in remote and rural practice.

The midwifery team provide maternity services within the community midwifery unit based in Caithness General Hospital, and across the Caithness and North Sutherland area. The service supports the choice of local birth in a low risk environment, facilitates approximately 15 births annually and supports around 120 pregnant people throughout their pregnancy and postnatal journey.
