Community Services Coordinator

Whānau Āwhina Plunket is the largest service in Aotearoa supporting tamariki under‑five and their whānau. As well as clinical support, we’re also here to connect caregivers with services that support holistic health and wellbeing and access to helpful services to form meaningful connections.

Supporting communities in Whangarei, Dargaville, Wellsford and everything in between, this is a full‑time permanent position.

This unique position combines Community Services Coordinator and Injury Prevention Coordinator responsibilities, offering a varied and rewarding opportunity to make a difference for tamariki and whānau across the region. Approximately half of your time will focus on connecting communities, building partnerships, and supporting volunteers, while the other half will be dedicated to delivering child safety and injury prevention initiatives.
