JOB SUMMARY

The Compounding Assistant supports the compounding operations by ensuring that all equipment, tools, and workspace are sanitized, organized, and readily available for compounding activities. This role is key to improving lab efficiency by reducing prep and clean-up time handled by pharmacists. Duties include glassware/equipment cleaning, restocking, assisting in receiving supplies, and maintaining a high standard of hygiene across sterile and non-sterile environments. This position does not involve direct compounding unless under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sanitation & Cleanroom Readiness
• Perform surface sanitation of PEC-adjacent zones and pass-throughs using approved disinfectants
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly cleaning checklists (walls, floors, glassware, tables)
