Compressor Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Compressor Technician's role involves repairing and servicing compressors, maintaining required pressure levels, monitoring gauges, and troubleshooting issues to keep systems running efficiently. Responsibilities also include cleaning, oiling, and performing preventive maintenance, connecting pipelines, checking for air leaks, and maintaining accurate records.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Repair and servicing power-driven air compressor which generates and supplies compressed air to drive pneumatic tools, hoists and other mechanical equipment

2. Building up and maintain required pressure in the production area

3. Manipulating controls or setting automatic regulator to maintain correct supply of air to the equipment

4. Observing pressure, temperature and other gauges and making further adjustments to controls, as necessary
