Job Description: MGPS & MOT Designer
Role Objective
To design integrated surgical environments. This includes the infrastructure for medical gas distribution and the structural/environmental components of Modular Operating Theatres, ensuring a sterile, technologically advanced, and safe workspace for surgical teams. The designer ensures that the system provides a continuous, high-quality supply of gases to clinical areas while mitigating risks of cross-connection or pressure failure.
Key Responsibilities
System Layout & Sizing:
Calculate flow rates and diversity factors to determine pipe sizes, ensuring adequate pressure at the furthest terminal units.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all designs strictly follow
HTM 02-01 ,
NFPA 99 ,
ISO 7396
or relevant local building codes.
Engineering Design:
Develop comprehensive MGPS schematics including source equipment (Manifolds, Compressors, Vacuum...
