Computer Lab Assistant

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, peripherals, and networking equipment in CSE laboratories
Set up and support laboratory environments for programming, software development, databases, networking, AI/ML, and other CSE-related practical sessions
Install, update, and manage operating systems, compilers, IDEs, databases, and licensed software
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide timely technical support to students and faculty
Maintain lab inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and consumables
Ensure data security, system backups, antivirus protection, and access control in laboratory systems
Assist faculty during lab sessions, examinations, and project work
Maintain documentation for system configurations, lab manuals, and maintenance records
Ensure laboratories comply with institutional IT policies, safety standards, and usage guidelines
