Computer Operator I

Computer Operations is a 24/7/365 operation. Associates must be willing and able to work rotating days off and/or non-standard work shifts, including evenings, overnight, holidays, and weekends. This position is for 3rd shift working 12:00am – 8:30am.

Computer Operators Level I is responsible for monitoring all network systems, servers, applications and communications that service the Store Support Center, Distribution Centers, Store Operations and Disaster Recovery.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Support all enterprise systems, performing system monitoring, troubleshooting, escalation, and issue resolution
+ Ensure all jobs on the iSeries run in a timely manner, perform troubleshooting and follow established escalation procedures
+ Initiate and monitor tasks related to daily run sheets, and job processing schedules
+ Responsible for monitoring, coordinating, documenting and tracking system backups
