Confinement Food Chef

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Confinement Food Chef to join our team at Serenity Confinement and Postpartum Centre in Melaka. As a full-time Confinement Food Chef, you will be responsible for preparing nourishing and traditional confinement meals for new mothers during their postpartum recovery period.

What you'll be doing

• Plan, prepare and serve a variety of traditional confinement meals and snacks following established recipes and guidelines
• Ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of hygiene and quality
• Manage the confinement food preparation area, including maintaining cleanliness and organisation
• Liaise with the centre's nutritionist to incorporate specialised dietary requirements
• Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies
• Assist with training and supervising kitchen support staff as required
