About the team
Located in the Environment, Heritage, and Resilience Department the Natural Areas Conservation (NAC) team manages 13,784 hectares of an expanding natural areas estate in approximately 900 separate reserves across the Gold Coast including the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Garden.
Our purpose is to conserve and enhance the City's natural areas and cultural values for community and future generations.
About these roles
We currently have 2 permanent fulltime Conservation Ranger opportunities in our team. As a Conservation Ranger you will implement plans and programs that support the day-to-day management of the City's conservation estate and associated built and green assets.
These positions support the Team Leader through the provision of technical knowledge, on-ground experience, stakeholder engagement and management of contractors and service providers.
