Construction Control Representative

Summary About the Position: Serves as a Construction Control Representative under the Project Engineer, responsible for supervising, managing, and administering contractual and engineering requirements for complex construction projects in designated areas of South Korea. Responsibilities Conduct quality control operations to produce work in conformance with plans and specifications. Determine the degree of tolerance to be granted within the intent of plans and specifications. Inspect materials being used to insure compliance with plans and specifications as to grade, composition, dimensions, consistency, value or other characteristics. Maintain a daily record on items of work inspected and work instructions, received or issued. Review plans and specifications during planning, and design stages, and finalization with job requirements, to determine changes, required because of conflicting field conditions and to recommend design changes where conditions warrant.
