Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Structural Framing: Building rough wooden structures, including wall studding, floor joists, roofing frames, and scaffolding.
• Installation & Finishing: Installing drywall, insulation, cabinets, windows, doors, staircases, and fitted furniture.
• Measurement & Layout: Reading blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine dimensions and material requirements.
• Tool Operation: Utilizing hand tools (chisels, planes) and power tools (saws, sanders, drills) safely.
• Repair & Maintenance: Repairing damaged wooden structures, cabinets, and fixtures in residential or commercial settings.
• Material Selection: Selecting, sourcing, and cutting appropriate lumber, wood, and other materials based on project needs.
