Construction Maintenance Superintendent

Overview

Construction/Maintenance Superintendent Tuolumne Utilities District. This position provides leadership for the construction, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater distribution, collection, treatment and reclamation systems and facilities. The incumbent plans, directs and coordinates construction, maintenance and repair projects; reads contracts, specifications and plans; ensures regulatory compliance; oversees, directs and schedules staff and crews; and manages outside consultants and contractors. The role supports the Operations Manager in developing capital improvement plans and related policies, procedures and programs, and acts as liaison with private and public organizations and regulatory agencies. General supervision is received from the Operations Manager, with direct supervision over assigned personnel and oversight of vendors, contractors and subcontractors.
