Construction Procurement Manager

Looking for a tough personality with experience in construction procurement, able to liaise with China suppliers, and provide analysis and findings to management. (mandarin speaker)
Job Description:
1. To set-up and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
2. Responsible for establishing new suppliers, vendors and maintain strong relationships with all suppliers, vendors and logistic companies.
3. To negotiate contracts with suppliers for better terms and ensure that suppliers meet quality and delivery standards.
4. Monitor procurement budgets, timelines and ensure cost control to all projects.
5. Analyse market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
6. To coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including import, warehousing and transportation.
7. Prepare reports for the management/C-Level on procurement performance and savings.
