Consultant in Geriatrics

We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Geriatrics on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Geriatrics department.

Our client currently are one of seven Local Health Boards in Wales. It provides acute, community and mental healthcare services to more than 600,000 people living in South East Wales, and is one of the largest and busiest NHS health boards/Trusts in the UK. It is responsible for delivering services through its three acute hospitals in Newport, Abergavenny and Caerphilly, supported by five community hospitals, health centres and extensive mental health and learning disabilities facilities. There are plans for a new revolutionary model of hospital service provision, with the creation of a state-of-the art new hospital in the centre of the county (providing critical care and major surgery) due to open in 2022.
