About this job

Key duties include leading the multidisciplinary team, clinical supervision of junior staff, maintaining patient safety and flow, and leading on child safeguarding within the ED. Provide clinical ED sessions with senior input into paediatric patient care and ensuring appropriate discharge and hospital admission, along with management and leadership responsibilities for children in the ED. This will include running the paediatric part of the Emergency Department seeing emergency cases and supervising junior staff and other allied ED staff.
