Consultant Obstetrician with an interest in Fetal Medicine

Job Overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Consultant Obstetrician with a special interest in fetal medicine. You will join a team of 27 consultants working across the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in a busy District General Hospital. This post is an Obstetrics role covering fetal medicine scan lists, antenatal clinics, caesarean section lists and intrapartum care. There is an opportunity for additional obstetric lead role SPA to be agreed with the Clinical Director depending on the interests and skill set of the successful applicant.

Main Duties Of The Job

• Fetal medicine scan lists


• Antenatal clinics eg twins


• Resident Obstetric shifts (acute work, days and nights)


• Elective caesarean section lists


• Participation in ATAIN and PMRT reviews


• Bereavement follow up
