Location: Cavell Centre, Peterborough. Salary: £113,565 - £150,569 per annum. Role: Permanent, full time (10 sessions per week), Consultant Grade.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will oversee psychiatric care for a 22‑bed ward of older adults, with separate units for dementia and functional illness. The role includes clinical leadership, teaching, research, and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team.

Main Duties

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric care for older adults on the Maples Unit.


• Provide clinical leadership to the MDT, including OT, OTAs, psychology, physiotherapy, SALT, and junior doctors.


• Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans for complex psychiatric and psychological comorbidities.
