Contentious Probate Solicitor

Service Care Solutions, in partnership with a highly regarded Legal 500 firm based in Reading, is appointing a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join its well-established and growing Will Disputes & Contentious Probate team. This rare opportunity is exclusive to contentious probate litigation.

Role

Contentious Probate Solicitor (3–5 PQE). Location: Reading – hybrid. Salary: £55,000 – £75,000.
As part of the team, you will manage your own caseload of full‑spectrum contentious probate work, receiving ongoing supervision and support from the Head of Will Disputes & Contentious Probate, a UK Legal 500 leading individual in this area.

Responsibilities

• Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act claims for both claimants and defendants.
• Challenges to the validity of wills.
• Executor and administrator disputes, including removal applications.
