Continuing Healthcare Lead

3 Month Contract With A local Authority Job Purpose To act as the subject matter expert for Adult Continuing Healthcare (CHC), supporting the development and maintenance of high-quality practice standards in line with national legislation, guidance and local policies. The postholder will provide strategic and operational support to managers and social workers, offering specialist advice, training, consultation and practical support on complex CHC matters, disputes and funding processes. Key Responsibilities Act as the lead specialist for Adult Continuing Healthcare (CHC) across Adult Social Care services. Provide professional advice, guidance and training to managers, social workers and wider Adult Social Care teams on CHC processes, legislation and best practice. Complete CHC Checklists and Decision Support Tools (DSTs) in line with national guidance and local procedures.
