Continuing Nursing Educator

1. PROFESSIONAL: Patient Care & Supervision of Nursing Services.

• To oversee the clinical standards of nursing practices and care of patients in the wards through hands on training with the nurses.
• To assist learners in the assessment, planning, providing, evaluating nursing care practices in tandem with the Nursing Managers/ Associate Charge Nurses in charge of wards.
• To ensure nurses are well versed in the documentation process in the Policies & Procedures through constant training & monitoring.
• To be aware of the medico-legal aspects of nursing practices and to highlight on the importance of these areas in the supervision, teaching and training of nurses.
• To liaise with other departments in the hospital as & when necessary in the coordination of any necessary activities relating to patients' care and treatment.
