Contract accountant

Min 3 years of accounting experience and familiar with year-end closing, checking of financial statements, doing XBRL etc.
Prior audit exp is useful but not a must
Prior asset mgt/ PE industry experience OR fund operations/ accounting experience is useful but this is not mandatory
Our client is an established and blue-chip PE/investment firm. It is based in town. It invests in private equity funds, with a focus on the development and innovation of new investment platforms and products to make private equity (PE) accessible to a broader group of investors.
It is now looking for a contract accountant who can join the accounting team to assist in its year end closing closing (including FS, XBRL). You will also assist in some BAU finance matters (e.g. checking invoices, monitor cash balances)and some fund accounting matters.
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA Equivalent.
