Contract Faculty - Physics and Astronomy

Position Information Location New Westminster/Coquitlam Campus Salary Range Hourly: $52.41-$114.65/hour; Per Three Credit Course: $7,947; Actual salary or hourly rate will be based on the number of credits and term of appointment according to the Collective Agreement. The Opportunity The Department of Physics and Astronomy within the Faculty of Science and Technology at Douglas College offers a range of college physics courses. We invite applications for contract instructors beginning in the Summer 2026 semester. For the Summer 2026 semester, we require an instructor for Introductory General Physics I (PHYS 1107). Ability to teach other 1st year preparatory and university transfer physics and astronomy courses will be an asset and may be required in future semesters.
