Job Description
Join our multi-disciplinary team as a Contract Geophysicist, focusing on reservoir development optimization through advanced seismic techniques. Collaborate with diverse experts to enhance our long-term strategy.
This role reports to the Manager of Geoscience Conventional Heavy Oil and requires a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics along with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience. You will employ geophysical interpretation techniques to reduce risks, identify opportunities, and support efficient execution of development plans while ensuring effective communication within teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan annual strat well programs with asset teams
• Ensure quality control in seismic data processing
• Generate depth converted seismic surfaces for drilling
• Collaborate on 2D and 3D seismic program planning
• Provide geophysical input for regulatory and resource reports
Requirements:
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
