About the Team The Japan Securities Settlements Operations team supports Tokyo-based trading and sales desks, ensuring seamless securities and cash exchanges. Though the business is Japan-focused, the team operates out of Singapore, offering a global perspective and collaborative culture. The position involves ensuring timely transaction delivery, maintaining operational controls to mitigate operational risks. Daily functions include high volume and constant liaising with agent banks, brokers and counterparties throughout the Japan market hours via telephone and emails. Pre-matching and fail trade management abiding to strict market cut offs, report preparation and break resolution are also part of the scope.
