Contractor - Customs & Logistics Coordinator

Contract End Date - 30/04/2027The Logistics Coordinator will ensure efficient, compliant, cost effective and timely movements of goods from suppliers within the Astron Energy supply chain.
The position reports to the Procurement Operations Manager and is part of the Procurement team at Astron Energy which is responsible for procurement of all goods and services to support its operations in South Africa and Botswana.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide guidance to the business on the optimum Incoterm to support the shipment

• Coordinate shipments with suppliers

• Evaluate and recommend corrective actions to ensure that shipments will arrive on site in accordance with schedule requirements

• Issue shipping instructions to the freight forwarder in accordance with the approved mode of shipping
