Contractor - Senior Mechanical Engineer

This position is an 12 month contractor role in

Calgary, Alberta

; the successful candidate will be onboarded through a third party contracting agency.

Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in

Engineering or Applied Science , or its equivalent, and professional registration with

APEGA

or eligibility acceptable.

Minimum 15 years broad mechanical engineering experience, including responsible administrative duties.

Sound knowledge of Mechanical Engineering (Static Equipment, Rotating Equipment, Metallurgy).

Fully competent in advanced techniques and procedures. Multi project or deep technical discipline experience.

Ability to develop engineering design guidelines, design criteria, design standards and conceptual design basis.

Originality and ingenuity required for devising practical economic solutions to problems.
