Contractor - Senior Mechanical Engineer

This position is an 12 month contractor role in Calgary, Alberta ; the successful candidate will be onboarded through a third party contracting agency.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science , or its equivalent, and professional registration with APEGA or eligibility acceptable.
• Minimum 15 years broad mechanical engineering experience, including responsible administrative duties.
• Sound knowledge of Mechanical Engineering (Static Equipment, Rotating Equipment, Metallurgy).
• Fully competent in advanced techniques and procedures. Multi project or deep technical discipline experience.
• Ability to develop engineering design guidelines, design criteria, design standards and conceptual design basis.
• Originality and ingenuity required for devising practical economic solutions to problems.
