Job Description

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
Maintain and supervise the existing Distributed Control System (DCS) and Emergency Shutdown System (ESD / SIS) Check events logs for timely reporting and perform regular system back-ups in order to achieve smooth functioning of the plant’s control systems.

4.1 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Control Systems Maintenance and Reporting
Monitor & supervise the existing DCS, and ESD systems to identify and resolve any issues and carry out minor configuration changes to databases and graphics of these systems in order to ensure system reliability and easy access to the end users.
Check server event logs on a daily basis and report findings in order to provide accurate data about plant operations.
Maintain DCS & SIS systems AV, MS patches and System Patches.
Assistance to Maintenance & Production Department
Provide day to day assistance to Maintenance Department...
