Control Systems Engineer (Uncrewed Surface Vessels) - Permanent - Bristol

As a Control Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the design, development, commissioning and ongoing support of autopilot and associated control systems for uncrewed surface vessel applications. Additionally, you will be involved in programming PLC system to support interfacing of our remote vessel logging system to vessel automation systems.

You will need a high proficiency in PLC coding – specifically CODESYS 3 and structured text. You will also need a good understanding of standard automation communication protocols.

You will provide technical expertise in the integration, configuration and optimisation of control solutions, ensuring effective communication with vessel propulsion, navigation and onboard systems.
