Controller

We’re hiring a Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for a growing construction business in the GTA. You’ll own month‑end close, job costing/WIP, cash flow, and support project teams with clear, timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month‑end/year‑end close and produce financial statements & variance reporting
• Manage job costing , WIP reporting , project margin tracking , and change order accounting
• Oversee AP/AR, progress billings, collections, and cash flow forecasting
• Ensure compliance (HST, payroll remittances, WSIB) and maintain strong internal controls
• Partner with PMs/Operations on budgets, committed costs, and forecast‑to‑complete
• Manage/mentor the accounting team and improve processes/systems
