Controller

The Controller is a key executive at City Centre. The person in responsible for reporting accuracy, for management of internal controls and plays an important role in enabling the Senior Management/Owners to make decisions. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller works closely with a team of three accounting assistants and the Director of Finance to ensure that the books of accounts are prepared in accordance with GAAP rules. The core responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Accounting and Reporting

• Establish and track proper internal controls for Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable and other assets.
• Forecast and manage cash‑flow for properties under the portfolio.
• Responsible for month‑end close process including accuracy of rental charges, completion of bank reconciliations and closing/adjustment journal entries.
