Controls Engineer

Overview

Controls Engineer - Livingston | Up to £60,000. Global Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client for a Controls Engineer to join their Production Engineering team. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge automation, SCADA/HMI systems, and smart manufacturing technology!

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and improve control systems on new and legacy equipment.
• Configure SCADA/HMI systems and optimize machine performance.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and support manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate across sites on projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• BEng in Electrical/Controls Engineering or similar.
• PLC, HMI & SCADA experience (Mitsubishi preferred).
• Knowledge of VFD/VSD drives, EthernetIP, Modbus, CC-Link.
• Proven experience in live manufacturing environments.
