Controls Lead – Capital Markets

Overview

We’re partnering with a top-tier Canadian bank to hire a US Controls Lead within their Capital Markets team. This is a hands‑on role focused on expanding an existing controls framework into US regulatory requirements (PARATUS), requiring strong expertise in both regulations and control execution. Responsibilities

Own and execute regulatory controls end‑to‑end (design, testing, remediation) Translate US regulations (e.g., CCAR, Dodd‑Frank, Reg W, Volcker) into practical control frameworks Conduct control testing (design & operating effectiveness) Lead RCSAs, issue resolution, and control improvements Partner directly with Capital Markets stakeholders (trading, IB, treasury) Support regulatory reviews and governance reporting Must Haves
