Cook for Childcare Services Program

Join the Bicentennial team as a Cook, where you’ll provide nutritious meals for approximately 100 children. This position requires menu planning and adherence to Canada’s Food Guide.
As a Cook in the Childcare Services department, you’ll work directly under the Child Care Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include daily meal preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and documenting food inventories. It’s a vital role that supports high-quality childcare through nutritious food offerings, complying with various health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare daily menus for children
• Serve nutritious meals and snacks according to guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and appliances
• Document food and cleaning inventories regularly
• Comply with safety and health policies
Requirements:
• Experience in childcare food preparation
• Knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide
