The primary purpose of this position is to prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks for children in the Child Development Center using standard frequently used recipes. Responsibilities Prepares and cooks items requiring little or no processing. Weighs, measures, and assembles ingredients. Determines quantities of ingredients for required yields. Maintains accurate food inventories. Uses, maintains, and cleans tools and equipment, such as grills, food processors, slicing machines, toasters, mixers,and pressure cookers for accomplishment of well-defined, basic tasks. Utilizes health, safety, and sanitation practices, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and cleanwork environment.
