Responsibilities
Prepares and cooks items as directed by the Executive Chef/Assistant Executive Chef.
Communicates with the Executive Chef on a daily basis regarding food planning.
Ensures the quality of food prepared.
Ensures the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Observes safety measures while performing the assigned tasks.
Organizes and prepares the mise en place.
Assists in preparing the trimming meats.
Cooks and portions employees meal for hotel.
Prepares items required for day-to-day kitchen operations.
Helps in cutting meat, vegetables, and other ingredients for specific dishes.
Helps in preparing event meal requirements.
