Job Responsibilities:

• Checks meal census board and menu for the daily food requirement of the hospital.
• Prepares and supervises food preparation and production according to the approved diet and menu.
• Prepares checks and lists the regular market order list and submit to Nutritionist-Dietitian for approval.
• Confer and discuss with dietary staff the menu for the day and make the necessary changes.
• Maintains kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Undertake the preparation and cooking of food for patients.
• Undertakes cooking all therapeutic diets and other special diets.
• Ensures that finished food is properly dished out.
