Job Description
A. Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare and cook Western dishes according to standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines. Handle daily mise en place including cutting, marinating, and ingredient preparation.
B. Quality Control
Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation. Monitor ingredient freshness and maintain company standards.
C. Kitchen Operations
Operate kitchen equipment safely, maintain cleanliness, manage stock (FIFO), and report shortages or equipment issues.
D. Hygiene & Safety
Follow food safety regulations and SOPs. Practice proper hygiene and safe handling of kitchen tools and equipment.
E. Teamwork
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak hours and events.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a Western Cook or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Western cuisine, ingredients, sauces, cooking methods, and plating styles.
