**Job Summary and Qualifications**

Responsible for performing appropriate inspections, review and provide resolution for identified safety issues related to the physical environment. The Coord Life Safety is responsible for overseeing management of the physical environment program, which includes Environment of Care and Life Safety guidelines in order to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff within the hospital and clinic buildings and grounds.

· Ensure that all Joint Commission guidelines for Physical Environment of Care standards at the hospital remain compliant
