As a Corporate Buyer at Mitchell Plastics, you'll report to the Corporate Procurement Manager and contribute to our Technical Centre team. You should have five or more years of experience in automotive purchasing, along with a relevant post-secondary education. Key responsibilities include leading the Advanced Purchasing APQP Process and supporting supplier relationships to resolve quality and delivery issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Advanced Purchasing APQP Process for programs
• Source components and raw materials efficiently
• Resolve commercial issues in Supplier Program launches
• Identify cost-down opportunities with Direct Materials/MRO
• Negotiate contracts and supplier agreements
