Corporate Commercial Lawyer

On behalf of our client, a large downtown law firm, we are recruiting an Associate to join the corporate commercial department.

Firm has an excellent reputation for client‑focused service, a strong culture, and will provide a ready file load. Candidates who develop their own client base will have a higher bonus structure. The position is in the office with the option for remote work on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
• Provide legal advice on business law matters
• Support clients with incorporations, reorganizations, and transactions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of corporate commercial law experience
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage files independently
• Excellent communication and client service skills
