Corporate Legal Counsel

We’re hiring: Corporate Legal Counsel (Remote | Preferably Pune)
Oyster Shield is growing, and we’re looking for a Corporate Legal Counsel to join our global legal operations team.
This is a remote role, ideally based in Pune, working with private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) backed companies, as well as fast-growing organisations, across the Europe, UK, US and India.
You’ll work at the intersection of law, business, and operations, supporting software-driven organisations on:
- SaaS and technology contracts
- Commercial negotiations and deal support
- Privacy, data protection (including GDPR), and compliance
- ESG and governance initiatives
- Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations
What makes this role different
At Oyster Shield, we don’t operate like a traditional legal function. We act as business operators, helping PE and VC-backed companies scale, professionalise, and prepare for growth, investment, and exit.
