Cost Accountant

Role Responsibilities:



Maintain and update standard costs for manufactured products, including monthly and annual inventory revaluations.



Calculate and validate standard costs for new part numbers.



Analyze cost variances, inventory movements, and historical cost data to support internal stakeholders.



Prepare daily manufacturing finance reports (inventory levels, absorption, manufacturing expenses, earned hours).



Perform inventory reconciliations by part number and location.



Support scrap recovery processes by reconciling supplier billings against scrap manifests.



Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries in Oracle.



Prepare financial and cost-related reports for management review.
