Cost Accountant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

INVENTORY & MONTH END CLOSING

1) Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

2) Perform month-end cost accounting entries and inventory reconciliations.

3) Review inventory adjustments and investigate discrepancies.

VARIANCE ANALYSIS

1) Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances versus BOM and Routing Cost.

2) Monitor recorded Consumption of materials in Production Orders and its impact to FG Valuation.

3) Monitor recorded Production Runtimes and its impact to FG Valuation.

4) Assist in identification of root causes of production inefficiencies.

5) Prepare monthly variance reports for the Financial Controller and management.

COST CONTROL

1) Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

2) Work with Production and Process Management to implement corrective actions.
