Cost Accountant

Job Summary:

The Project Cost Accountant role is to ensure that the Project Financials are properly prepared and computed, the project budget resource is safeguarded, project transaction records are intact, complete, and accurate, and project financial reports are significant and communicated timely to the management.

The position holder shall undertake the following functions:

• Initial review of project financials prepared prior to final review of Finance Head, and approval by the VP for Finance and Admin.
• Create detailed budgets
• Oversees suppliers/subcon contracts
• Evaluates cost/verify statements.
• Monitor budget releases at inventory unit level – ensure no duplicate/multiple releases
• Upload/Set-up of approved project budget re-allocation and supplemental budgets in the system
• Report Actual Project Cost versus Budget per project
• Report Project FS (Income Statement, BS, CF) – per profit center
