Cost Accountant/Project Controller

Job Description :

Cost Management & Variance Analysis :
- Assist in develop & monitor project cost against budget
- Conduct variance analysis to identify root causes between budgeted and actual
- Identify cost saving opportunities , warning on cost overrun

Tender Support :
- Assist in develop detailed project budget during tender & project kick off stage
- Analyses on the project margin
- Analyses industry trends and competitor performance

Financial Reporting :
- Set up procedures related to cost accounting
- Prepare monthly cost project reports (budget vs actual , planned vs actual etc)
- Conduct cost and profitability analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Support project meeting with cost update etc

Other Skills Requirement :
- Experience in construction industry with costing/finance knowledge would be added advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and writing
